Eigenschaften 

Anders als beim Menschen haben Pferde im ersten Teil des Magens 

keinen Magenschleimhautschutz. Der pH-Wert sollte in diesem Bereich 

neutral sein. Das Pferd ist ursprünglich ein strukturreicher Dauerfresser. 

In der heutigen Pferdehaltung und Fütterung wird dieses oft zum 

Problem durch zu stärkehaltige Nahrung.Pektine aus Möhren- und Apfeltrester bilden Schleim, der sich auf die Schleimhäute im Magen-Darmtrakt legt. Pre- und probiotische Hefen fördern die physiologischen Verdauungsvorgänge. Carbonate puffern Säuren ab.
